About Julia Squier

Born and raised in New Jersey, Julia is a New York City based costume designer for theater. Finding their love for the craft through cosplay at a young age, they sought out a BFA in Costume Design and Technical Production at Marymount Manhattan College to hone in on their love for storytelling, fashion, and collaboration. Julia works on a multitude of projects, but has a passion for new works, experimental, and queer theater, always wanting to push the envelope on the art we take in.

A self proclaimed jack-of-all-trades, Julia has experience working in multiple facets of costume design and production including coordinating, stitching, distressing, fabric painting and dyeing, and even constructing puppets.
